Aesthetically, it can be set up however we want - the logo approach is what seems to be used most places and the navbox I used on Red Dead Wiki was primarily out of convenience as a starting point, but it can be made to harmonize better with the main page here.

I was going to write, "Well, obviously someone affiliated with your sorry excuse for a mom, so anything's possible," but thought better of it.

Anyways, if we start with just Double Fine related wikis I count at least five others here. With that approach I could set a box up and hand it off to each of the other wikis to use with relatively few changes. If we agree on the general concept here, I could mock it up and contact the other wikis to see if they agree as well.

Yeah, admins especially get their profiles wiped out or vandalized by malcontents. But all it takes is a quick rollback and block and order is restored.

When I first heard about this bundle, I thought, "great, but I already have all those games." Then I did a double-take, "wait a second ... Humble Bundle usually means Mac + Linux too ... did they? ... holy crap, they did!"

My only concern is that when Psychonauts was first released on Mac it worked great. Then, they recoded it to be a native app rather than essentially a Windows app within a Mac wrapper. That should have made it even better, but it actually made it worse. Even after several patches it's still not as good as the original release.

But still, Brütal Legend without having to reboot into Windows - that's worth a few bucks.

Which platform?

To answer my previous question, yes, there are seven groups that pop up when searching for Brütal Legend in Steam. Some are specific to a faction, character, or country, but two are general BL appreciation groups. Of these, the larger has forty members but neither has been active for a couple of years (though one person did note the PC release).

I hate duplicating effort, but since these groups are inactive, unless the group admins show up again we wouldn't be able to do much to revive them, so maybe best to start from scratch.

Has anyone noted whether there's a Steam group for Brütal Legend ... or if maybe we should create one? I'll try to remember to check next time I'm on.

I would check major wikis for games with PC and console equivalents like Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls, etc. for such templates. I'm not sure where the PS3/Xbox templates here originally came from.

Without the description people might think it is only for discussions of General Lionwhyte (or discussions between Generals). We can't take that risk!

First round - me vs. Legal on her first day of break. Maybe, *maybe* I'll have a chance of winning then. :-)

I added descriptions to all forums but one. The General Discussion forum would let me enter a description, but then it never showed up.

Milkman, since everyone has different schedules, I think the way the tournament would work is not that it happens on a single day, but that everyone has several days to meet up and complete their games for each round. The next round begins when either everyone has finished or the deadline is reached.

After testing out the new admin functions and adding descriptions for a couple of the forums, I realize how nice it would be to be able to move a thread from one forum to another. My immediate reason for wanting to do this is that I realize we now have three forums that kind of overlap: Watercooler, Miscellaneous, and General Discussions.
