Tears of the Hextadon is the first add-on for Brütal Legend. It contains two maps as well as a new axe for single player and multiplayer, The Blade of Ormagöden.
It was released on November 3rd, 2009 on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 400 Microsoft points and on the PlayStation Store for $4.99 (though it was available for free from November 5th until November 19th).

The first map, Circle of Tears, is a circular map that is set outside of a chapel surrounded by the Sea of Black Tears. The second map is called Death's Fjord, based on the area around Death's Clutch. The new axe can be selected from the Motor Forge for free, and will replace The Separator in multiplayer stage battles.
